I vote yes. The Vols were 74-14 from 1995-2001, but only 52-26 since 2002. Mike Hamilton says he is happy because they have played for the SEC Title three times since 2001. What kind of nonsense is that? It is obvious that the program has been on the decline for going on six years now. Mike Hamilton's expectations are far too low. I know that they play in the toughest division of the toughest conference in America, but is it too much to ask to win a conference championship? Fulmer, Chavis, and apparently Clawson are not the most brilliant minds when it comes to X's and O's. Also, Fulmer has always been touted as a big time recruiter. Where have the classes been in recent years? The fact is that when Rodney Garner left for Georgia so did a lot of big named recruits with him. The other thing I don't like is how Fulmer can't understand why people would criticize him. Last year, he thought that people took some unfair cheap shots at him and his staff before the Georgia game. His team had been annihilated twice and had a horrible defense. The bottom line is that when we had better players we won. Now that Auburn, Georgia, and LSU have risen to the top, we have become mediocre. The record speaks for itself. It is time for him to go. It is time for Chavis to go. I don't want to look at one more late TD drive by an opponent because we dropped back in Chavis's patented Prevent the Vols from Winning defense. Remember the Prowler defense? That was a desperate attempt to confuse Florida because of a lack of intelligence to come up with anything else. The defense has steadily declined over the past six years as well. I'd like to fire them both, but first we will have to covince the school to fire Mike Hamilton.
