That really chaps me....

Well, its a new week and a time to reset for "Volunteer Baskeball". After Thursday's entry was unsatisfactory for EK's "Raw Sewage", ending a 5 straight day campaign, the VB blog is ready for a new week..

I'm going to start this week with a blog about being pi$$ed. You know what really chaps my butt? Those dang overseas people who answer your call that you made to Chase Credit Card Company. First off, they send me some bogus bill for nearly $40.00, after i've already paid the card off. Then you get to sit on hold for 45 min. And as if that wasn't fun enough already, when someone does answer, its some Chinese man (no offense to the Chinese) who can't speak a lick of english that you have to sort out your financial differences with. I was waiting on him to ask if i'd like an egg roll with that. That being said, what really chaps your butt? What really makes you mad?

In Honor Of....

It was one week ago that the "Volunteer Basketball" blog first appeared on Eric Kay's "Raw Sewage" best blogs around list. Well, it's been five straight days now on that list, going for six. So what i thought we might do today is honor the unsung heros of this world. The heros that make the work day possible. The heros that keep us "office personel", "IT Techs", and/ or "Desk Junkies" sane in an insane environment. Todays blog is in honor of sports and SPIN writers and Eric Kay is front and center. Here's to you Eric...

So today's topic, in line with that, is what do you use CBS Sportsline to keep you sane from? In other words, what's your occupation?

For me, i'm a certified computer tech for a local company here in Johnson City, TN.

Craziest thing @ sporting event

Ladies and Gentlemen, the "Volunteer Basketball" blog has reach a new personal best- Two straight days on Eric Kay's "Raw Sewage ... I love it!" blog. Can we make it three? :)

Today's random question is- What is the craziest thing you've done at a sporting event?

For me (its not a great one), me and several of my buddies went last week to the UK vs. UT basketball game in Rupp Arena. Before hand, we had shirts printed up that said, "Why does the wind blow north in Tennessee? Because Kentucky sucks and Alabama blows." That didn't go over very well, as you can image, especially since the Vols lost.
